I work the way I'd want a consultant to work for me: directly, with skin in the game, and ready to disagree with you when it matters. You get a senior engineer in the room — not a deck, not a delivery manager, not a junior team learning on your budget. The goal is always that you end the engagement stronger than you started, with people on your side who can keep going without me.
Jose is co-founder and CEO of Secmotic Innovation, the engineering firm he started in 2014 with a team of partners and engineers in Seville. He served seven years on the Board of Directors of the FIWARE Foundation, co-founded FIWOO (acquired in 2024), and has launched several other companies in Spain along the way. He teaches and mentors through Startups Institute, mentors portfolio companies at FundingBox, and runs IoT and AI workshops across Europe — most recently in Bulgaria.
Based in North Wales — working with clients across the UK, Spain and the wider EU.
